Game Report By Jim Larson
-Game Two
The Lakers jumped out to a 1 to 0 lead after the first inning. That was an impressive jump because it wasn’t until the 6th inning when the Logos pumped in 3 runs to take the lead in a pitching duel between Harvey Moch and Tim shoestring Johnson. The Lakers scored 5 runs in the bottom of the sixth which started by a 3 run home run by Gerry White shoes Fauth while boom boom Koch hammered in 2 more runs with a hard hit to left field.
Gerry white shoes Fauth also made 4 great catches in left field. Gerry White shoes Fauth also tip toed in on another fly ball which got him 75 points by doing the old 1 bounce catch. The final score was an unconverted touchdown for the Lakers and a field goal for the Logos. All in all the D fence was pretty much closed on both sides of the field. Compliments to the umpires for calling out an infield fly multiple times.

-Game Three
The final game of the evening was another entertaining one as Stewart Optical pulled out a 15-14 win over the Red Sox. The Optical team scored three runs in the top half of the last inning to take a two run lead. The Red Sox came back to score one run and almost tied the game, but had the potential tying run thrown out at home on a very close play. Rob Fisher, Darryl Bonagofsky, Jim Stewart, Kevin Lane, Blair Bosch and Dennis Young all were on base three times for Stewart Optical team and interim coach Larry Savage picked up his first win from the pine. Darrel Maser, Derry Eresman, and Harv Buye and Howard Gehring all had three hits for the Red Sox but the highlight of the night belonged to Jim Dulle who after two hard hit balls earlier in the game hammered his first ever out of the park grand slam to give his team the lead. A definite memory maker.
