Friday Oct 10 Final Report Final:
In Huff n Puff’s final game of the tournament, the Rundy’s Legends got the win by a 17 - 3 score. It was a simple case of the Huff n Puffs hitting the ball right at the opponents and the Legends were hitting all the gaps. Ron Jarvis and Bill Ramage went 2/2 in the game. The team finished 3 and 3 during the tournament and came away with a bronze medal.

Wednesday Hi-Lites:
On a beautiful, sunny day with a temperature of 30c, the Huff n Puffs played a solid game offensively and defensively in a 19 - 10 win over a team named Long Strange Trip (must be a story there as the jerseys had what looked to be magic mushrooms). Bill Chapman led the way going 4/4 and every player contributed at least one hit in a 27 hit attack with 3 of the 5 innings ending with the 5 run limit. Defensively, there were 3 highlights: Kenn Kallis had to stretch to reach a hard ground ball and still managed to throw in time for the out, Jim Larson had a long run to left field to snag a fly ball and Jim Fink caught a bullet driven back to him at the pitching spot. Jim also pitched the 5 inning game without surrendering a walk.
