Game 1 - In a game that featured a triple play initiated and completed by Keith Lutz and a diving catch in left field by Keith Kleckner, the Astros won a close game over the Red Sox 7 to 4. For the Red Sox, Royce Hopkins went 3/3, Don Hallberg 2/3 with a double and Boyd Kosolofski 2/3 with a triple. Coming out of the E&H dugout, Keith Lutz hit 2 run HR, the handsomest Lutz brother went 3/3. Dave Zawatsky, Robert Jensen and the handsomest Keith on our team each went 2/3. A special thanks to Trent Rasch for volunteering his time to umpire both games tonight. Thanks to Randy and Darlene for a stellar job up in the booth

Game 2 - The game between the Copper Coulee Casino Silver Foxes and Mike’s Meats Meateors was a very good game with the Meateors starting with a 5 run outburst, but not to be out done the Silver Foxes came back with a couple of 4 run innings of their own lead by Tim Seitz 4/4 night to take the lead in the 6th inning. But the Meateors came back in the 7th with 7 runs lead by our last player to finally show up missing spring training, practices with a 4/4 night with an inside the park home run by Dan Rattai (who says you need practice). Thanks to the umpires for a well called game

Game 1 - Well the Garage Pub pulled off a 12 - 10 win with a contribution from everyone one, with Danny Stevensons coming up with a 3 run walk off home run in the bottom off the 7th inning. well done guy’s.

May 23:
Game 1 - The Redi Recyclers improved to 2-0 with an exciting 15-14 victory over Stewart Optical. The teams were tied 9-9 heading to the open seventh inning. The eye guys scored five runs, four on Kevin Lane’s grand slam. In the bottom half of the inning the Recylers put together five hits and three walks scoring six times for the walk off. Mike Ferre delivered the winning hit driving in two runs. Scott Goldade has three hits for Redi. Jim Larson picked up the win.
