As was the case last year, 10's and 10's of fans showed up for the game. Team Blue won the game 5 to 4 via an in the park home run by Sherwin Lehman in the bottom of the 6th. Leading the hitting for Team Blue was Sherwin 2/4, Frank Merkle 3/3, Tim McInnis and Rod Sommerfeld each 2/3. For Team Green, Keith Bender hit a triple in the top of the 6th. He along with Vern Herter and Larry Lutz went 2/3. Defensive player for Team Green was the rookie Tom Baker with 5 defensive outs however the defensive player of the game was Team Blue's Ken Zollner who made 2 outstanding run saving catches at the rover position. Vern Herter and Jim Dulle both pitched very good games with Jim Dulle striking out three batters to strand the bases loaded for Team Green in the top of the 4th.
