Thanks to all the volunteers who helped make the August 2026 scramble a great success! After league games being canceled due to rain on Wednesday and Thursday, and continued rain on Friday, things were a bit dicey as far as this event happening on Saturday. But Mother Nature was kind to us all, and we woke up to beautiful weather, and great field conditions on August 15.
Game play went smoothly, with all games starting on time. Lots of great ball, good sportsmanship and camaraderie. Thank you to all who volunteered to umpire, announce, and keep score.
Elmer & Harold's kicked things of with breakfast, then Juggie's doing lunch, and ending with dinner prepared and served by Bumper to Bumper and Stewart Optical. Fantastic food on all three meals! Garage Pub kept everyone hydrated in the beer booth, and Logos did an excellent job selecting teams, and providing the rosters for the teams and score booth. Volunteers are what truly make this the best league in Canada, well done everyone!
