Game 1:
On a warm humid night the Red Sox and the Rebels took to the field. The action on the field was just as hot as the temperature, as the Red Sox held on for a 8-7 victory. Report Rob Marfleet.
Game 2:
The visiting Trackside Liquor Store IPA's and home team, Garage Pub, had a super-duper, back & forth affair last night in the 6:30 contest, with Trackside outlasting the Pub, 15-13. The IPA's were ahead 15-10 going into the bottom of the 7th, but the Pub's bats got hot, scoring 3 runs and the bases were loaded with only 1 out. We were lucky to turn a double play to get out of it and preserve the win. Great game with two evenly matched teams, each team winning one game against each other this year. Our all star performers at the plate tonight were Miles Mayer, Bob Gardiner, Mike Ferre and a large fly by Blaine Lutz. Thanks to umpires Boyd and Jim and the guys in the booth, Gary and Truman.

Game 3:
Stewart Optical 10 – Elmer and Harold 3
According to E & H, It’s not a complete game until 7 innings are played so the next time we play them, they will have runners on 1 st and 2nd with 2 out in the 7th . I don’t think we will have any problem beating them unless Poersh and Sommerfeld are hitting. These super seniors both went 3 for 3. Yikes!!!!
Great defence and hitting for the eye guys. Hubich was 3 for 3 and there may of been others so excuse me if i missed yours. Fred Bohnet was awesome on the mound giving up 3 runs.
Have you ever watched the movie Ground Hog Days. Well it happened again
The super seniors were once again the mvps.
Special thanks to the mavericks for supplying the umps , kitchen staff and another great broadcasting venue by Truman and scorekeeping by Gary
Have you looked at the scramble photos. This is another splendid job done by Rob Kayfish who also runs our website. Hats off to him. Report Randy Biko

Game 2:
Stewart Optical 17 - E & H 9
Dan Rattai and Jim Stewart were both 5 for 5 for the eye guys and Jake Thomas 3 for 3 E & H. Stewy launched a couple of dingers, but the MVPs of the games were our super senior players. Fred Bohnett 3 hits and a walk. Rod Sommerfeld 2 for 3, and Jim Poersh with a couple of hits. Wow!!! These fellows are the grandfathers of our league at 82, 83 and 89. Rod Sommerfeld was playing in this league when Redcliff was bigger then Medicine Hat. Hats off to these gentlemen. Thanks again for Lutz Perschon, Larry Biko, Chris Wandler, Bob Marfleet , Harvey Bye, Roger King and any other giants for keeping us full, umping and score keeping. Report Randy Biko
Game 3:
James "The Beast" Fink pitched a rare slow pitch shutout to lead the Morrison Mavericks to an 8 - 0 victory over the Elements Lounge gang on Tuesday night at Holden Field. For 3 innings Rod (Eye Rod) Insko, on the mound for the Elements, almost matched Fink and score stood at 1 - 0 in favor of the Mavs. 2 three run innings in the fourth and fifth secured the win for the Mavericks, while Fink held steady for the entire game. Game 2:
The Trackside Liquor Store IPA's came up with one of their better games of the year for the 2nd game on Monday night, beating the powerhouse Morrison Mavericks by a score of 12-9. Very good defense on the hot corner by our Whitla (I wish it would rain) farmer, Jim Cooper, rover and super-sub, Jim Phillips, and some hot bats by Glenn Kessler, Miles Mayer and Kent Strudwick guided the Beer Drinkers to a rare victory (lately anyway). Sorry for the late report. I was out of town for this game. I think they are trying to tell me something!! Report Jamie White

The garage pub brought their A game tonight defeating the southwest wine and liquor store 13 to 3.
