Game 1:
Well folks, we were the road team and we started out like the bad news bears. Looking down at our bench missing Stewart, Rats, Bonogofski, and Magiinnes. Yikes!
After one, the burger guys were blowing us out 1-0. The first run was the winning run in our game last night. The bottom half of our line- up came up big with 5 runs with 2 outs. What about our subs. Darrel Maser , Norm Emman, and Kerry Buss. These gentlemen chipped in with 6 or 7 hits and drove in many runs. Another great night of fielding for the eye guys. Final score Stewart Optical. 15- 9 Juggies FOG. What does FOG stand for?
Great Job by Uncle Pudge, and Audrey for manning the score board and announcing.
The league brought up a couple triple A umps (Darcy Hardy & and Jake Thomas who did a fine job. Thanks again to E & H for looking after the Juggie burgers.
Wishing for a fast recovery to James Bonagolfski.

Game 2:
The Mavericks of Morrison withstood a late surge to defat the Canadian Energy Lakers 16 - 14 in the second game of the Thursday night triple header at Lorne Holden Stadium. The Lakers were down by 7 runs as they took their final bat, and rattled the Mavs with 5 tallies on the strength of 2 home runs, 1 by Danny Stevenson, and the other by Gerard Hittel. With the tying run at the plate, the heroic come back efforts by the Lakers fell short. Report Norm Emman
Game 3:
John Engel hit a pair of two run home runs for Elements, and Kevin Friesen had a three run inside the park homer for the Redi Recyclers, as the two teams played to a hard fought 10-10 tie. Sam Montoya had an inside the park home run for Elements.

Game 1:
Well folks, we manage to score 8 runs tonight. How bad did we lose? We didn’t. Jim Stewart had the winning RBI in the first inning which gave us a 1-0 lead and that’s all Freddie needed for a 2 hit shutout. The final score was 8-0. Fred lowered his era to 5.32 with a 7 & 4 record. Defense was splendid with Stewart making some dazzling plays at short. The rest of the defense was also great.
MVPs once again were Fred Bohnet with Jim Stewart assisting.
A special thanks goes out to Bill Ramage and Uncle Pudge for a fine job umping, Bob and Gary upstairs and E & H for running the sugar shack. Report Randy Biko
Game 2:
Al Martens hit a three run home run, David Camphor, Rod Brusky and Gerry Harrell each had two hits as the Redi Recyclers defeated the Cross Town Red Sox 13-5. Al Dyck got the win on the mound.
Report Kevin Friesen
Game 3:
Another really good game tonight to close out the night. The Trackside Liquor Store IPA's came up with a victory against the Station Coffee Longshots, 15-10, in a full 7 inning game. The Longshots came out swinging, and scored 5 in the 1st, with the IPA's going down 1-2-3. We then woke up, and slowly picked away at their lead and eventually outlasted the coffee drinkers. Good game, good fellowship. The IPA's all-stars tonight were again the back half of our order, Glenn Kessler, Paul King, Andy Christie and Bruce Smith all getting on base multiple times. Bruce scored from first base early in the game on a hit to the fence by Mike, and we had the oxygen tank ready for him as he crossed the plate.. Thanks to the E&H crew for their concession and umpiring duties, and to Gary & Bob in the booth. Report Jamie White

Game 1:
Dave "The Hammer" Hammel knocked in 6 runs with 2 singles and a homer to lead the Morrison Mavericks to a 14 - 11 win over the Garage Pub on a cool Tuesday night at Lorne Holden Field. Hammel was greatly supported offensively by his teammates as the Mavericks put up substantive crooked numbers in 3 innings. Report Norm Emann
Game 2:
Hard to believe, but the Element boys came thru with a gaggle of hits and scored 5 runs in each of the first 3 innings. With a commanding lead we decided to go easy on Southridge wine and Whisky and barely hung on for a 16-14 win.
John Engle knocked his first of the year dinger out of the park. Ron Jarvis had a strong nite at the plate and MP Motz made some great catches to seal the victory.
Kerry Buss was helping out the Whisky boys and hit a grand slam to make the Element gang nervous in the top of the seventh.
Nice way to end an extended 7 game losing string, but who’s really counting. Win or lose, its a lot of fun. Thanks to Kevin and Gerard for a great nite calling the plays. Report Tim Seitz
Game 3:
Last game of the night was Logo's Rebels vs E&H Auto. It was 3-3 after 4 innings. E&H added 5 runs in their bottom half of the 5th to take the lead 8-3. Then added 2 more insurance runs in their bottom half of 6th. E&H hung on for a 10-3 victory to end their 3 game losing streak. Jim Black also ended his hitting streak at the shortstop, going 2 for 3 at the plate for E&H. Report Darryl Bartman

Game 1:
A great game tonight against the visiting team, Elmer & Harold's, and home team, Trackside Liquor Store IPA's. The Trackside beer drinkers scored the one run they needed in the bottom of the open inning, and came away with a 18-17 win. Bruce Smith opened the inning with a walk, and eventually scored the winning run with the bases loaded. Both teams had the bottom of their orders getting key hits, ours being Paul King, Clint Phaff and Bruce Smith, E&H being Rod Sommerfeld and Jim Poesrsch. They were missing their big gunner's, Kelly and Barry, so that makes a big difference. All in all, a great game, with both teams each winning a game against each other in our shortened season. Thanks to the Lakers crew for their umpiring and concession duties, and to Bob and Darlene in the booth. Report Jamie White
Game 2
Station Coffee had their best game of the year as they went on to beat Logo's by a 15 - 6 score. Leading the way for Station Coffee going 4 for 4 were Robert Jensen, Howard Enslen, Blair Hennes, Jim Dulle, and Wayne Miller. Both teams came up with outstanding catches. Jim Dulle was the winning pitcher. Report Wayne Miller
Game 3
Southridge Wine and Whiskey had a 7 run come from behind victory over the Cross Town Red Sox with the help of a walk off single by Ron Stubbs. Final score of 11 - 10. Report Wayne Gutfriend
