Game 2:
An excellent game last night between the visiting Trackside IPA's and the home team Elements Lounge. It was a close game all the way, with the IPA's scoring a few more runs in the top of the 7th, and holding the Elements scoreless. Final Score 14 - 8. Good performances from both dugouts, with John Engel and Blaine Lutz both hitting bombs. Rod Insko and Perry Nurse were both solid on the mound. All the best to Glen Motz on his re-election campaign. Nice to see our local MP out having some fun-time with the boys during this busy time for him. Thanks to the two Kerry's for umpiring, and to the rest of the Logo's crew for flipping the patties. Also, nice to hear a new voice on the mike last night, Darrell Maser stepped in and did a fine job. More volunteers up there makes Bob Charette's job much easier. Report Jamie White

Game 1:
The Trackside IPA's and Logos Rebels squared off in the first game tonight, with the Beer Drinkers coming away with a 17-6 victory. Trackside gave up 5 in the top of the first, but we answered back with 5 of our own. Our super sub, Jim Dulle, then held the Rebels to 1 run after that, as he did a superb job on the mound. Jim's bat was also hot, getting multiple hits and RBI's. Dale Haas was the super sub for Logo's to help them fill out their roster. We also had to pull Jim Cooper off the combine to get to our game, and he was perfect at the plate, going 4-4. Other hot hitters were Andy Christie, Glenn Kessler and Clint Phaff. Many thanks to Sherwin and Les for wearing the vests, and the Stewart Optical crew in the kitchen. Also, a big shout out to Darlene and Truman upstairs. Now, here is what makes our league special. Those two in the booth come from completely different backgrounds, completely different generations in fact, and they are up there volunteering for the benefit of our league. It's like having a Grandma and her grandson up there having a good old time, helping to make our league what it is. Where else do you see stuff like that? My guess, nowhere. Report Jamie White
Game 2:
Station Coffee Lon Shots chalked up another win, 11 - 6, over Elmer & Harold's. Gerry Wittke, Robert Jensen, Harold Enslen, and Gregg Martin all went 2-4, and made some great catches. Randy Kambeitz had 2 home runs and helped Southridge Wine and Whiskey to a 13 - 6 victory over
