Below is a message from Darrell Maser On Saturday's Scramble
On Saturday June 18 we had our first scramble of the year. We had a beautiful day and all the teams seemed to be evenly matched . I think all the players enjoyed the ball and the supper that followed.
I would like to thank the following people who helped pull this together.
The Lakers, Maverick’s and the Pub. Also Gwenda Scherger and Tammy Hittel for the excellent job on breakfast and supper. Also would like to thank all the others who helped out in the kitchen, looking after the field, and those selling the beer during this event.
Derry did a super job of making the sausage for supper.
Thanks to Randy’s announcing crew as well as Norm for his help with anything that needed doing.
Great job of entertainment provided by and performed by Blaine Lutz, he has one heck of a great voice.
Finally I would like to thank Gerard and Curtis for organizing and making sure everything that needed to be done got done.
