July 7:
Game 1:
Let the bells ring and the birds fly. We finally won a game!!!!!!
Optical 14. Mavericks 8
Very good team hitting and fielding tonight. Bo Bichette made his appearance at 3rd and short while relieving Zeller and Biko. He had some great fielding plays but has to work on his throws. Rob long arm Klein made some great catches to get the outs. Jim Stewart had a 3 RBI dinger. Most players were 2/3 or better at the plate.
Players of the game for Stewart’s Optical were Fred try to get me out Bohnett and James double play Bonagofski
Rick Parker and Glen Stodolka tried to knock some birds off the trees for the Mavericks.

Game 2:
The Lakers came away with a 12-7 Victory over the Garage Pub. Howard Gehring went 3 for 3 at the plate while Gerard Hittel hit the top of the far fence and Dan Stevenson hit a 2 run home run to take the lead which the Lakers held on to. Report Curtis Scherger
Game 3:
Elements Lounge and Trackside Liquor Store IPA's played in the final game of the night, and looks like the final game of the week.
We had an excellent game, with Trackside outlasting the Lounge by a score of 15-13. The beer drinkers had a lead of 15-6 going into the top of the open inning, but the Loungers got hot and quickly scored 7 runs, and were poised to take the lead. However, We were finally able to get the 3rd out and squeak out the victory. Our outfielders all played an excellent game and saved our bacon many times. Blaine Lutz hit a 3 run dinger in the 1st inning. Good game, good times. Report Jamie White
July 6:
Game 1:
The Red Sox got off to a red hot start with a 5 run 1st inning. Then they proceeded to build on their lead, while holding the Elements off. No home runs to report but Royce Hopkins came close and managed to turn a looong hit into a looong single. Final score was 13-6 on a warm and humid evening.

Kevin Lane hit a three run homer and Scott Goldade had an inside the park home run as the Redi Recyclers defeated Elmer & Harold’s 18-10. Report Kevin Friesen

Game 1:
Station Coffee Long Shots strong defense was the deciding factor in their 9 - 2 win over Elmer & Harold's. Some of the hi-lites from Station Coffee's win was Blair Hennes great catch in left field, with Robert Jensen and Wayne Miller each turning 2 double plays each. Blair Hennes also had a strong night at the plate going 3 for 3, including a triple. Trent Rasch pitched the complete game. Report Wayne Miller
Game 2:
The Trackside Liquor Store IPA's managed to secure a victory last night against the Logo's Rebels by a score of 11-4. Actually, I think the game was closer than that, but the IPA's were able to sneak out of a couple scoring situations the Logo's had thanks to some good pitching and defense by our team. We had to use our first sub of the season, and we're fortunate to have super-sub Kelly Lutz hit a 2 run dinger and played excellent defense at 3rd base. Once again, great to play a team that we haven't seen for a couple years. Report Jamie White
