The second game of the evening had the Lakers falling to the Mavericks 13 - 11. Howard Gehring showed off his defensive skills in the 6th inning to keep the game close. Darrell Bonefant had a strong night at the plate going 3 for 3 for the Lakers. Curtis Scherger Report

The Garage Pub had a all players contributing in a 17 - 7 victory over Stewart Optical.

June 30:
Game 1:
Tim Johnson pitched his first game in the league for the Lakers, and picked up his first win, as the Lakers beat Stewart Optical 14 - 9. Howard Gehring had a strong night at the plate for the Lakers going

Game 2:
The Cross Town Red Sox came up big in the 7th inning, scoring 6 runs for a 13 - 11 victory over the Redi Recyclers. Al Martens hit a three run homer for the Recyclers. Kevin Friesen Report
Game 3:
The Trackside IPA's squeaked out a 11-10 victory over the Station Coffee Crew last night in the cooler, 7:30 game. It was an excellent game, with Trackside holding an 11-8 lead going into the top of the 7th. The Coffee drinkers scored 2 quick runs without registering an out in the top of the 7th, but the Beer drinkers shut them down the rest of the way and hung on for the win. Both teams are sporting spiffy new jerseys, and I know ours are much cooler. Great game, great fun, and it's so good to see the guys that we could not play last year. HAPPY CANADA DAY everyone.
