The Fairview summer games are under way and the Medicine Hat teams are off to a terrific start. The 65’s have won both of their games today, while the 70’s won their first and will play their second later this afternoon.
Well the Medicine Hat team ended the day with a perfect record as the 70’s won their last game 9-7. |

Day 2 of the Fairview Summer Games has been a wet one. Games are being rescheduled around the weather so keep checking back for updates.
So far the 70’s have been able to get a game in and lost 6 – 1
The 65’s were able to get their game in today and won 16 – 6. They now play on Sunday for the gold medal.
The day was not as kind to the 70’s as they lost their second game 12 – 0 to Calgary. |
| July 24: |
Team 70 started the day off with a convincing win over Olds by a score of 16 – 1. With that win team 70 captured the Bronze medal. Howard Gehring hit an in the park home run in the victory.
Team 65 came up a bit sort in their final game therefore they captured the silver medal. |
