Final Report:
The Huff & Puff 60s were eliminated from further play at the Huntsman Senior Games Thursday afternoon following a 16-4 loss to the Sunshine Boys from Florida. The Sunshine Boys jumped out to an early 10-2 lead and the Huff & Puffs just couldn’t muster many hits. Blaine Lutz had two hits including a two run homer. Also collecting a pair of hits were Jim Stewart and Leon Moch. The Huff & Puffs finished with a 1-4 record. A huge thank you to our wives for their tremendous support. Vivian Moch for a great job score keeping. Also kudos to the 65s and 74s for their support at all our ball games.

Day Three Report:
The Medicine Hat Huff & Puff 60s are down to their final chance at the Huntsman senior Games. On Wednesday afternoon, the Huff & Puffs in their first bracket game were defeated 13-5 by Brian’s Brothers from San Diego, California. The local bats went silent. Chris Wandler had three hits. The Huff & Puffs must win out, four in a row for any chance at a gold medal. Next up is a game against Zeal Realty, 1:50 Thursday afternoon.

Day Two Report:
The Medicine Hat Huff & Puff 60s closed out the preliminary round at the Huntsman Senior Games in St. George, Utah with a 17-16 victory over the Manteca Renegades from Central California. The Huff & Puffs finished with a 1-2 record. Jim Stewart picked up the win on the mound and helped his own cause going three for four with two home runs. Blaine Lutz also with three hits and one homer. Chris Wandler, Barry Koch, Leon Moch, Al Martens and Kelly Martin all with a trio of knocks. Up next for the Huff & Puffs, the double knockout bracket round. Their first game will be 1:50 Wednesday against Brian’s Brothers.

Day One Report:
The Medicine Hat Huff & Puff 60s opened the Huntsman Senior Games in St. George, Utah with a pair of losses. In their opening game, the Huff & Puffs dropped a 22-21, extra inning decision to Bowers Excavating from North Dakota. Todd Kopec went five for five. Blaine Lutz had four hits with a home run and Jim Stewart had three knocks including a home run. In game two, the Huff & Puffs dropped a 19-13 decision to Hawaii. Royce Hopkins, Barry Koch and Jim Stewart all had three hits. Gerard Hittel pitched both games. Up next for the Huff & Puffs will be their final preliminary game 1:50 Tuesday against the Manteca Renegades from California.
