| Team 70 Lethbridge Tournament June 23 & 24 |
Tournament Notes:
Day One:
We started the day facing the host Lethbridge Bandit 65's. MedHat was hitting on all cylinders while the Bandits struggled and we came away with a 15-3 victory. In our 2nd game we faced the Red Sox 65's from Calgary and the tables were turned as we lost 14-2. Day Two: Sunday's first game for the 70's was the last in the round robin, and the rubber match with the H&P 65's as the 70's won in 2016 and the 65's in 2017. It was a well played see-saw game by both teams and the 65's won 14-13. This set up the 1-2 and 3-4 playoff and the 70's faced the host Lethbridge Bandits again. Both teams struggled to score runs with the 70's eventually winning 8-7. |
