| Friday night proved to be a great night for both Medicine Hat teams as both teams came a way with victories. The 60’s team had a solid game at the plate as the whole team was hitting the ball. The defence was also solid as they held their opponent scoreless. For the 65’s Harold Enslen’s solid hitting in the 1st and 3rd innings brought in 4 runs. In the top of the 7th Dennis Young picked up a sharp grounder to record a out at first, and then at second Bob Charette made a great catch on the way to a 5-2 Medicine Hat Victory. |

| Saturday for the 60’s did not start well as they dropped their first game 11 – 4. In their second game team 60’s scored 4 runs in the 7th to come a way with a 12 – 11 victory. It was a great team effort with Keith Bender playing a great defensive game, and Warren Schafer getting a clutch hit to bring in the winning run. The 65’s split their games starting with a loss To Edmonton, but then came back with a win against Calgary. The 65’s started the top of the 7th being down 2 runs. They then were able to rally for 7 runs and change a looming loss into a 5run win. |
