-Game 2
Jim Fink recovered from last night's home run derby sufficiently enough to hold the Mavericks to 2 runs in a 9-2 win for E&H. Keith Lutz hit a 2 run homer to tie the game in the bottom of the second. Good defensive play by the Mav's kept the score at 4-2 for E&H until the  bottom of the 5th when the E&H crew rallied for 5 runs. The defensive play of the game was provided by Robert Jensen who stopped a potential rally by the Mav's with a great play at second base.

-Game 3
The Trackside Liquor Store IPA's and Stewart Optical had a real good game tonight, with the IPA's hanging on for an 11-7 victory. Good defense was the name of the game tonight, with both teams coming up with some outstanding plays, both infield and outfield. A little different than last night's home run derby that we were involved in. Al Martin and & Darrell Bonagofsky were both solid in RCF, which saved many more runs from scoring. Both teams were missing some big boppers tonight, so each team played with 11 players. Thanks to the Garage Pub for running the show and to Darell, his grandson and Darlene for handling things in the scorers booth.

June 27:
-Game 1
After game one Brian Stonehouse was heard to say, "Two teams showed up to play ball and a homerun derby broke out !" The Lutz brothers put on a homer hitting display accounting for 10 of the total 21 runs scored in the 11-8 E&H win over the IPA's. Adding homers to the derby were Dieter Stanke with one and Al Martin with 3 for a total of 6 rbi's almost matching Keith Lutz's 7 rbi's. Jim Copper made an excellent running catch to end what could have been a rally for E&H. Keith Kleckner showed up with duct tape wrapped around his rib cage. Why? We were afraid to ask! Jim Fink is still in a state of shock, having given up more homers tonight than in all previous 12 games.

In the final game of the night between the Copper Coulee Silver Foxes and the Energy Lakers it was a real pitchers duel between Roger King and Tim Johnson. The Silver Foxes scratched enough runs across for a 4-1 win with both teams playing great defense. Highlight plays were a great double play by Andy Stroh at third and Tim Seitz at first, and a great foul ball catch by Gerard Hittel at third for the Lakers.
