Team 70 Edmonton Tournament June 8 - 9

Tournament Notes:
Day Two:
Game 1:
Well we lost 16 to 14. We certainly had our chances but came short.
We were ahead 11 to 10 once but trailed most of the time.
Our leader Ernie batted 1000 with Nooner 750. Some of the others had hard hits but right into their gloves.
One more to go.
Day One:
Game 1:
The Huffers came out hitting. Five in the first followed by five in the second.
Stan the man made beautiful catches in the outfield but when batting does not believe the coaches
when there is only one out.
Another senior moment when LP went to catch with no glove. Defence was awesome.
We won 15 to 7 over Bills Pickups.
Game 2:
Well we didn’t start hitting until the 3rd ending. We held them to no runs after the 3rd inning.
All I am doing is delaying saying we lost 10 to 7.
We play at 9AM against Calgary and CanAlta at 1.30.
Game 3:
Well it wasn’t our week end. Got rained out bottom of the second ending. 2 on and nobody out.
We were trailing by 6.
Over all the 70s were a little rusty but ready for Lethbridge.
