-Game 2:
The Trackside IPA's squeaked out a great game against the Canadian Energy Laker tonight by a score of 14-13. We scored the one run we needed going into the bottom of the 6th to win by one with the score tied at 13-13. Kasey Valkenburg gets the winning RBI with a hard hit down the right side, scoring Jim Cooper on second. Fun game, both teams played and hit very well. Have a great weekend boys

-Game 3:
On the strength of a five run first inning, the Morrison Health Mavericks took down the Garage Pub by a 9 - 3 count. The Mav's tight defense turned three double plays to hold the Pub off the scoreboard until the fifth inning. The highlight of their offence was a towering home run by Rick Parker that cleared the trees beyond left field.

-Game 1:
The Morrison Health Mavericks rolled over the Canadian Energy Lakers by a somewhat shocking score of 14 - 2 in the season opener for both squads.
The first inning proved fruitless for both teams as nobody even reached first base. In the second, the Mavs shook off the winter doldrums and pounded out five runs. They pushed across another five in the third frame, while a stout defense held the Lakers at bay.

In the second game of the evening, Stewart Optical defeated Southridge Wine and Whiskey 15-8 behind some strong defense, great pitching and home runs from Jim Stewart, Kevin Lane and Darryl Bonagofsky

On a beautiful night at the ballpark, the Red Sox, led by home runs from Don Hallberg and Royce Hopkins, defeated the Redi Recyclers 17-11
May 10:
-Game 1:
Logos squeaked one out against Stewart Optical with an 11-10 victory in the bottom of the 7th. Jim Stewart hit a dinger for Stewart’s Optical.

The Trackside IPA's came up with a strong second half of our game against the Garage Pub FOB, to win by a score of 14-10. Very good game, lots of very nice plays on both sides, the difference being three towering home runs, 2 by Blaine Lutz and one by Al Martens. Welcome to our new guys, Kasey Valkenburg, Garth Burton and Deiter Stanke. All excellent additions to our wonderful league. Sure is nice to be back and see everyone again. Great job by the Can Energy Lakers in the concession and umpiring the games

E&H managed a 12 - 7 win against Station Coffee House tonight in a game that featured good pitching and base running, a few home runs and some excellent defensive plays from both sides.

May 9:
-Game 1:
Only one game was played on opening night as rain and cold cancelled the second and third games. An exciting one that was played. John Engel's two run home run in the top of the final inning gave the Station Coffee Longshots a 4-3 advantage heading into the home teams half of the final inning. Rod Brusky delivered a two out single to drive in the tying run as the Redi Recyclers came back to earn a 4-4 tie. Earlier in the game, Scott Goldade hit a solo home run for the Recyclers. Jim Larson pitched a complete game for Redi while Bruce Stuber and Trent Rasch shared the pitching duties for Station Coffee.
